Parks Victoria

Parks Victoria is the local authority under the Marine Safety Act for Western Port outside declared port waters. Under the Marine Safety Act, the Harbour Master is in charge of all matters relating to the safety of navigation within Western Port.

Parks Victoria is responsible for the management of all recreational activities on Western Port. They are also responsible for managing a number of berths (pens or alongside jetties) and swing moorings at various locations around Western Port (note that some swing moorings are also managed by yacht clubs and mooring associations).
