New project referral submitted to the Commonwealth (June 2025)
The Port of Hastings has lodged a new Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation (EPBC) Act referral for the Victorian Renewable Energy Terminal to the Commonwealth Government under the EPBC Act.
The referral is the necessary next step for the project to confirm the Commonwealth environmental assessment and approvals required for the project to proceed.
